However, as the whole world is changing its preferences to modern minimalist styles, so does China. But since lately most of our clients have been leaning towards modern design, we decided to share how to transform a traditional interior into something so beloved these days using natural stone.  

Balance is the key

Remember that usually, you do not want to go “too far” no matter what style you choose. Transitioning from the traditional design, try to leave some classic elements and add contemporary ones. This way, you will keep the uniqueness of your design and freshen it up at the same time. 

Here is a perfect example of such a combination. Classy wall patterns and futuristic black marble flooring and countertop with white splashes. 

Avoid too much pattern 

Minimalism is almost synonymous with modern  design nowadays. Try to use solid colors and add finishes and metals for texture. A good way would be making your flooring and countertops match — white marble would do a perfect job. 

Or you could do the opposite — contrast black granite with white quartz for an even better effect.
